Nearly 20 minutes into the episode, the members of f(x) underwent a truth-or-lie test, where they were given a question to answer honestly. The girls were instructed to slide their hand onto a machine that would determine if they were telling the truth or not.
Luna was first to try, with MC Jeon Hyunmoo asking her if she wanted to be in Girls’ Generation more than f(x). Luna answered no right away, looking straight into the MC’s eyes. Victoria commented, “Alright, good job” while Amber jokingly said, “I won’t forgive you if you’re lying.”
To Luna’s shock, the lie detector buzzed, indicating Luna’s answer was a lie! The members clustered around her in both curiosity and mock outrage, while Luna claimed repeatedly that the detector was broken.
Amber was next to the table, to battle it out against truth. As soon as her hand got onto the machine, Luna asked Super Junior-M’s Zhou Mi to ask her the same question she was asked, but with a male idol. Immediately, comedian Cho Haeryun and the other hosts suggested EXO. Though Amber admitted that she had thought about it [being in EXO], but still answered no when Zhou Mi asked her if she wants to be in the group.
However, just as the same with Luna, the machine immediately began to buzz indicating Amber was lying! Amber bolted from her seat, but inevitably laughed with Luna as the hosts comically questioned their positions.
