EXO’s Suho reveals he started as a trainee at SM Entertainment when Super Junior debuted

On the recent episode of their new show, EXO 90202014, Suho revealed that he waited 6 years to become a member of EXO. It was after Son Hoyoung expressed how lonely it was being a long term trainee, when Suho confessed how he felt in his trainee days too.

Suho revealed that he came in as a trainee around the time Super Junior debuted in 2005. He trained with fellow idols SHINee’s Taemin and Jonghyun, but had to see them leave one by one as they debuted before him. He revealed that at that time he felt really lonely since all his fellow trainees were already idols and busy.

After hearing this, Son Hoyoung comforted his junior by telling him that the long wait made who EXO are today.

Although Suho had to waited 6 agonizing years to debut, he has found success as a leader of the unbelievably incredible group, EXO.
