EXO Member Luhan Will Not Be Attending Bangkok Concert Due to Exhaustion and Sleeping Problems

 

EXO member Luhan will not be able to participate in the group’s Bangkok concert due to health problems caused by exhaustion and sleeping problems.

On September 12, SM Entertainment wrote the following statement on the group’s official homepage:

“Regrettably, current circumstances prevent Luhan from going to Bangkok to take part in EXO’s solo concert ‘EXO from EXO Planet #1-The Lost Planet’ on September 13-14. After going to the hospital due to headache and problems sleeping, the doctor said that he needs to take a break and long hours spent flying would be too hard on his body. In order to protect our artist, we will follow the doctor’s recommendation. Luhan will return to a regular schedule after taking the necessary rest.”

Luhan had also written about his situation on his personal homepage, saying that,

“I’ve suffered from fatigue and a sleeping disorder for a long time, and I feel quite dizzy. I’m sorry but I can’t participate in the concert in Thailand. At first I thought I would be able to complete my schedule but it seems that I’ll be unable to show you guys a perfect stage this time. I hope I get better soon and can meet my fans at the Beijing concert. Please don’t worry,” he wrote.

Fly to the Sky’s Brian Considers EXO as a Rival

 

Fly to the Sky‘s Brian revealed the reason why he considered EXO as a rival group, despite having different target audience and genre.

On the latest episode of MNet‘s variety show “EXO 90:2014“, MC Jeon Hyun Moo praised the duo’s good looks and said they don’t lose to EXO’s looks as well. Both took it very well, however.

Fly to the Sky’s Brian admitted he considered EXO as rival for another reason and explained,

“my cousins really like EXO. Every morning, EXO’s morning calls are being played by them, and so with this I considered EXO as my rivals.”

Meanwhile, EXO’s Lay was the hero for this week’s remake of Fly to the Sky’s music video for “Missing You“.

Netizens criticize SM Entertainment for EXO Luhan’s health conditions

 

After announcing that he will be absent in EXO’s concert in Thailand due to exhaustion, netizens have taken it online and criticized SM Entertainment for Luhan’s condition. 

Previously, it was reported that EXO’s Luhan apologized through his Weibo account for his absence on EXO’s concert in Thailand due to health-related reasons.

SM Entertainment officials stated that,

"Luhan, who has recently visited the hospital due to headaches and insomnia, was recommended to rest and to restrain from long flights by the doctor," and explained that

"in order to protect the artist, Luhan will rest before joining back to future schedules."

Upon reading the article, the Korean netizens have started to criticize SM Entertainment for overworking their artists. Comments such as, 

"SM, stop over working your artists so much, do you think they are some kind of robot?" 

"Let them sleep SM," 

"Rest well :( Take care of your health!!" and more were posted online. 

EXO is currently pushing through with their “EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1- THE LOST PLANET” concert tour which was launched in South Korea last May 23rd and 24th. 

They are set to be in Bangkok, Thailand on September 13th and 14th before heading on to Beijing, China on September 20th and 21st.

EXO fans organize peaceful line to greet members in Incheon

 

On September 12th, EXO left Incheon International Airport for the Thailand stops of their “EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1 - THE LOST PLANET" concert tour.  Unlike EXO’s previous experiences at the airport, fans this time maintained their composure.

Dispatch has released reports and photos regarding EXO fans’ notably different behavior towards the idol members as EXO left Incheon International Airport on their way to Thailand.

The fans waited at the airport to greet the members long before EXO arrived.  Unlike EXO’s previous greetings at the airport which were disorganized and hectic, this time the fans waited in an orderly and well-mannered fashion.

 

 

Fans showed their manners by posting papers on the floor, with writing such as: “This spot is taken~ don’t take it off” and “I’ll remove it myself later.”

In other news, Exo member Luhan have decided not to attend the concert in Thailand for health related reasons. Luhan later apologized for his absence on his SNS account to his fans.
