Controversy Rises Over Music Test Asking The Number of EXO Members

Students were taken by surprise when they saw EXO on their music exams.

In a recent post titled “The Music Test of Horror,” a picture of a music exam is attached. One question in particular is highlighted because of its controversial content.

The question is asking to add up all the numbers in the parentheses within the following passage, “In the year of (   ), group activities conducted by large managing agencies became prevalent. From (   ) generation idols, such asHOT, SES, and Fin.K.L to current day’s EXO (     people), these groups have defined the Korean Wave and stand as the representatives of K-POP.”

Students who have little interest in K-pop were startled by the question that asked the number of members in EXO.

The original writer of the Internet post said, “I didn’t get a 100 because of this question. How would I know how many people there are in EXO.”

Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany and EXO’s Chanyeol confirmed for “Unpretty Rapstar 2” final stage

After much speculations, Mnet has confirmed that Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany and EXO’s Chanyeol are confirmed to appear on the final stage of "Unpretty Rapstar 2". 

On October 27th, Mnet stated that as they filmed the final stage yesterday, two artists were able to appear as surprise guests for the performance. It was later confirmed that Chanyeol teamed up with Heize for a special performance, not denying the speculations from an audience member published yesterday.

Tiffany was also confirmed to have participated in the filming with the details of which yet to be released.

Meanwhile, "Unpretty Rapstar 2" is set to declare a new winner as they hold their finale on November 13th.

Chanyeol to Collab With Heize, and Tiffany to Appear on “Unpretty Rapstar 2″

EXO‘s Chanyeol and Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany will be appearing on the Mnet hip-hop survival show “Unpretty Rapstar 2″ to show their support!

Chanyeol was at the finale recording of “Unpretty Rapstar 2″ on October 26. Chanyeol teamed up with contestant Heize for a collaboration stage to perform the song “Don’t Earn Money.”

After the recording finished, the audience took to the internet and revealed that Chanyeol was there, also adding that Tiffany was there.

A Mnet official confirmed, “It is true that Chanyeol and Tiffany were on the finale stage. Please watch the broadcast for specific details.”

Viewers can catch this episode on November 13.

EXO’s Xiumin and Kim So Eun’s web drama “Fall in Challenge” has been released.

Sponsored by Samsung, the web drama tells the tale of Ban Ha Na (Kim So Eun), a club president searching for new members, and Na Do Jun (Xiumin) who dresses up and acts like Pierrot.

The web drama has revealed its first two episodes through Samsung’s official YouTube channel.

Their first meeting happens to be a chance encounter and it appears as though the pair gets closer as they go through various challenges.

Netizens furious against EXO lay and claims that he plans to leave as well

On October 23rd, a report stated that EXO Lay will not be participating in EXO’s Japanese tour, “EXO PLANET # 2 – The EXO’luXion – in JAPAN”. 

Korean netizens upon hearing this news have begun expressing their worry and fury over his action believing that this signifies that he will most likely leave the group as well.

EXO Kai’s Teaser Picture Released for Nylon Magazine’s September Issue

Nylon magazine has released a teaser of its photo shoot with EXO member Kai. On August 13, the magazine uploaded a black-and-white photo of Kai lounging on a director’s chair to its social media accounts.

They write as the caption on their Facebook and Instagram, “For the fans who are waiting with bated breath for this month’s cover and photo shoot with Kai, our editor has released a best cut.”

They also refer to Kai by his nickname Nini when they add, “Look forward to our interview with Nini as well, who has a great personality and upstanding thoughts.”

Kai’s photo shoot will be featured in the September issue of Nylon magazine, which is set to hit newsstands on August 18. The magazine has promised that they’ll be releasing a making-of video as well.

EXO’s Chen to Perform Solo in the 2015 Grand Hallyu Festival

SM Entertainment revealed on the morning of August 15 that Chen, of the popular boy group EXO will perform as a solo in the “2015 Grand Hallyu Festival.” 

The festival is set to take place in the Seoul Olympic Main Stadium on September 4. On this festival, Chen will join other popular K-Pop singers such as Girls’ Generation, CNBLUE, BEAST, EXID, and Block B, among others. 

Chen hopes that he will be able to show his fans his new side at this festival.

Meanwhile, EXO’s Chen sang his first solo piece for the OST for the drama “It’s Okay, That’s Love” in 2014.
